When putting music in your Rep Book, have different sections which hold 3 different versions of each song. One section should have the full song. One section will contain your 32 bar cuts, and the final section should contain your 16 bar cuts.
By doing this, you will never confuse your accompanist by having different markings for different cuts.
ALSO: If your cut starts on a page other than the title page of your song, make sure you have the title and the composer (and the show name) on the top of the page. When the pianist sees this information

it will let them immediately identify the song prior to beginning; making them feel at ease.
REMEMBER: your best friend in that room is your accompanist! Treat him/her right and they will want to do right by you!
